JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 工作職責(zé)
1 Design and develop struts and shocks, in close cooperation with the global designers within Tenneco working on the same project.
2 Help the lead development center in EU to design a lowest cost product through design optimization as well as by helping supplier chain team to look for best in class suppliers in the AP region
3 Liaise with the process and manufacturing team and discuss the result within the company in order to develop a product optimized for DFM & DFA
4 Based on the cost Bill of Material, track potential cost savings on monthly basis.
5 Prepare and participate in the NPIS team meetings on a regular basis
6 Release 2D and 3D drawings of struts and shocks.
SKILL / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS 技能/知識(shí)要求
1 Education: University level; mechanical engineering background is desired
2 At least 2 years China Automotive Industry experience
3 Good understanding of vehicle and vehicle suspension engineering is a extra asset
4 In-depth knowledge of CATIA V5 and functional application of GD&T
5 Good communication skills both in English and Chinese。
