Key Responsibilities
1. Lead a team of local specialists during a number of 4 months’ projects in the first year, where the MCI lean concept is implemented in a factory. After the first year, as a supporting/consultant role for China region lean team.
2. Support and train local organization to be able to run lean improvement projects
3. Analyze, identify and cash in potential for improvement in a production area
4. Challenge and support management teams in the factories before, during and after project implementation
5. Conduct performance follow-up and audits on factories in Dongguan and Qingdao
6. Contribute to our Lean concept development and in the planning of global activities
7. Ensure compliance with all PRC laws and regulations.
Who we are looking for
An experienced lean practitioner with:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in lean project management
2. Experience with corporate driven lean programs (Candidates with 6 Sigma green belt certificate is preferred.)
3. Bachelor degree or above with engineering background or similar
4. Management experience preferably from production environment
5. Excellence Chinese communication skills both written and spoken.
6. Good communication skills in both written and spoken English language.
7. Ability to work independently and being organized and structure.
8. Strong drive to make changes and achieve results through others
9. High level of data analysis skill and have courage to challenge local management in the factory.
10. Candidates with production management background is preferred.
11. Candidates can accept frequent travel.
